WIOA, Section 166 Program
Services

AICA WIOA, Section 166 services divided into two categories: Career Services, and Training. These offerings are tailored to address economic trends, industry clusters, and new technology directions to best prepare each trainee for the local job market.

Career Services:

Basic

  • Outreach
  • Orientation to available services
  • Initial assessment of skills, aptitudes, and abilities
  • Eligibility certification
  • Career  Counseling
  • Job search and placement assistance
  • Job referrals
  • Workshops and job clubs
  • Other services (such as testing and background checks)
  • Information and referrals to various vocational schools and institutions of higher learning

Individualized

  • Comprehensive and specialized assessment (such as diagnostic testing and interviewing)
  • Full development of individual employment plan
  • Group counseling
  • Individual counseling and career planning
  • Case management
  • Short-term pre-vocational services
  • Supportive services


Follow-up Services

  •  Up to one year after placement
